Problem Statement

The existing BMW workspace fails to foster a productive and engaging environment, leading employees to prefer remote work over the office.

This disconnect stems from three core deficiencies:

  • Inadequate Infrastructure for Modern Work: The office lacks the necessary technical and acoustic support for hybrid collaboration, including private, soundproof areas for digital meetings and deep, focused work.

  • Poor Spatial and Ergonomic Design: The current layout characterized by uncomfortable, disorganized seating and a lack of distinct functional zoning creates a "shop-like" atmosphere that generates constant distraction and fails to support different work modes.

  • Absence of Biophilic and Social Connectivity: A scarcity of greenery and the lack of dedicated "serenity" or casual breakout spaces have eroded the office’s sense of well-being and hindered the spontaneous, informal idea generation essential to the BMW culture.
